Noelli Center 

The Noelli Center is a program for very motivated individuals who will take the extra -step to optimize their own health. We target:

• Persons between 20-50 years of age , to discuss disease before its a problem
• African Americans and Latinos concerned about their health
• Those who may have increase risk of certain disease because of family history, lifestyle or both
• Those who will take what they learn and adjust their lifestlye and behaviors ,
• Those who will monitor their symptoms and progress and
• Those who will work with their physicians.

why we charge

And how are we different from other Health Organizations that offer teaching for free :

There are many good resources and programs in New York City that provide similiar lectures and seminars. We encourage patients to use them as well. We differ in that:

• We offer one-on -one individual sessions . Many programs do not have the funding to cater to individuals and only provide lectures to groups. This limits the questions you may specifically have.
•  Disease doesn't occur because of what we do 20 days ago , but 20 years ago, we must take control of our health early.
• You will speak directly to a Practicing Physician. Many of the community programs, patients recieve lectures from nurses or health educators who have a different perspective. As a physician we have more details on the science of both the illness and medications you take.
• Many free programs often have to limit their services during times like these because of significant cuts in the budget. Programs such as the Noelli Center are crucial during times of a recession. By charging a small  fee , we allow the program to continue despite any deficits in  goverment funding

We DO NOT treat, diagnose, or provide medication on medical conditions . Instead we provide the knowledge you need to  know to make educated decisions regarding your health with your primary care physician.

We are not  to replace your doctor visits or nursing care.
